Richman Brothers 3-piece tuxedo
Beautifully-constructed, early-20th c. 3-piece tuxedo, dating from 1933-1935. Textile is a soft, medium-weight, ink-black wool.
Black dinner jacket. Peaked satin lapels -- chest pocket, 2 flapped inset pockets, 1 short inner pocket -- lined sleeves & front -- triple-buttoned cuffs -- shoulder padding. Flat back -- no vents or pleats. Keyhole buttonholes. Single button closure, or, for a more generous fit after dinner, doubled button closure.
Lined, off-black jacquard waistcoat with U-shaped satin shawl lapel. Lustrous deco-inspired pattern. Half-belt with etched fleur-de-lis buckle -- 3 small black buttons -- 2 short front pockets (inside, original 1930s cleaner's slip from the Troy Laundry, Dying and Dry Cleaning Co.) for your time-piece.
Black flat-front pants with 3/4" satin stripes, unhemmed. Two back besom pockets, one buttoned -- deep front pockets and hidden coin pocket at front -- interior suspender buttons -- 5-button fly. Blue Eagle NRA label dates the suit. By Richman Brothers.

Highly-wearable & in beautiful shape. No exterior holes, stains or fading. All suit images were lightened to show off the details. Wool is deep-black --- jacquard vest is a dark, silvery, off-black.
Noted minor issue: white sleeve lining shows yellowing below armpit. Not visible -- can only be seen if sleeves are turned inside out. Otherwise, suit is immaculate and in near mint condition.
