Jerry Silverman printed dress set

Italian-inspired Pop print set. Silhouette is short & boxy atop an extravagantly-narrow line.

Black linen dress has princess seams (with hidden pockets), a defined waist & a narrow, pencil silhouette. The dress closes with a back metal zipper. Fully-lined. A colorful belt with large metal buckle matches the jacket --- the belt's sash snaps into a sculptural triangle past the buckle. The soft jacket is short, dart-fitted and lined, with bracelet-length sleeves. Jacket and belt feature a striking textile -- a expressive abstraction in golds, tulip-pink, orange, silvers, black and white --- that is at once fresh -and- quintessentially-Sixties.

A gorgeous creation by Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman. According to the Vintage Fashion Guild, Rodgers & Silverman were "known for doing Americanized versions of Balenciaga designs".

Delightfully wearable shape, with no obtrusive flaws. Any small faults do not retract from wearability and will be fully-disclosed. There are several small flaws to the set -- none of which make the set any less wearable.

Jacket: 3 tiny marks at the back -- look like pin-holes but are ink-marks -- also one 1/3" vertical blur of line at the front. These flaws are not very noticable.

Dress: sash shows several tiny stitch-holes from where it was originally attached at 3 places to the dress. The belt has one pin-hole at the front (also from original stitching). The buckle\'s sheen is dulled in places.
