Gap straight leg military pants
In 1969, the first Gap store opened on San Francisco's Ocean Avenue. Its name referred to one of the topics of the day --- the "generation gap" --- and here 's an early example of the boutique\'s youthful fashions. Pale sage-green pants, made of kitteny-soft cotton. High-waisted, with wide, straight legs. A large brass "militaires equipements" button closes top. Two hip crescent-patch pockets. Brass Scovill zipper.

Delightfully wearable shape, with no obtrusive flaws. Any small faults do not retract from wearability and will be fully-disclosed. Noted: fabric shows the slight fade of vintage cotton & a desirable patina of wear.
** Vintage items are precious, pre-owned pieces of history. Many have unique dyes and handcrafted prints, artisan weaves and intricate hand-tailoring -- details no longer available except in modern couture. Please love & respect your vintage.
