Kings Road pastel shirt
I leeeerrrvvvv this manly, lady-print shirt -- a great example of the classy, early-70s crazies. From a distance, the shirt pattern is a zigzag swirl of lavender, bone, and pale-peach. Come closer and perceive a sea of ladies' faces, purple manes tied in polka-dotted bows/turbans/poufs, glassy eyes staring at nothing. The gals could 've jumped off a Biba advertisement straight to your torso. Once you get past the pastels and polka dots, you\'ll love the sheeeer, poly-cotton (feels like fine broadcloth, I kid ye not) fabric and the large chest pocket. "Tapered with tails", as they say. A winner… made by the Kings Road Shop of Sears. Kitschy, figurative-Pop/Op at its finest.
