Floral print gown
Enjoyable, figure-defining wiggle of a formal, circa late-50s, early-60s... with a bow-tie tail.
Crafted from a linen-like crash, screened in glowing-sunset-pinks, reds, and orange, saturated blues and purples, acid-green and white. Textile pattern is an impressionistic muddle of drops, splots and splashes, drawn flowers with bleeding edges, a Rorschach test of a floral print.
High, portrait-neckline, with skinny straps descending the back. Pointed bust is shaped by four darts. The waist meets a slim skirt, with side folds at the waist creating room for curvy hips. Skirt is narrow and falls to the floor. Back is a low scoop. A metal zip closes back waist. Bodice lined in bronze faille. Skirt is lined in a wiry organza. Short back vent. Two floor-length ties accent the upper back and fall long, wiggle-waggling as you walk.$76
